Day 1:  We leave early and head north.  Today we explore the Pinnacles, and absolute must see where these amazing limestone structures stand as high as 5 metres and were formed approximately 25 to 30 thousand years ago.  You will even have time for a swim at Cervantes Beach.  (Dongara or Geraldton accommodation)

Day 2:  This morning we pass through Geraldton, a town rich in colonial history and location of HMAS Sydney II Memorial, as we head towards the World Heritage Area of Shark Bay.  Here you will encounter the oldest living fossils on earth as we visit the stromatolites at Hamelin Pool.  Enjoy the crystal clear waters of Shell Beach.  As the name suggests this 120 kilometre beach is made completely of small shells.  Tonight we settle in at Denham for 3 nights.  (Shark Bay)

Day 3:  The area around Monkey Mia was settled in the 1890’s.  Originally it was a pearling and fishing area.  In the 1960’s one of these fisherman and his wife began feeding Bottlenose Dolphins in the area.  For over 50 years now the dolphin feeding has continued, now 3 times per day and today you also will have the chance to take part.  As these dolphins are wild animals, their attendance cannot be guaranteed.  Today you also have the opportunity to visit Ocean Park Aquarium where you will meet many more.  (Shark Bay)

Day 4:
Escape the mainland and explore World Heritage Listed Dirk Hartog Island, for our full day Eco Adventure.  Depart Denham Jetty at 7am, we board our purpose built 48ft vessel for the cruise across the Shark Bay Marine Park.  Once at the island, a fold down stairway from the bow of the boat will be lowered for easy beach access.  Fresh scones with jam & cream is served whilst your guide introduces you to Dirk Hartog Island.  At this point the group is split into two with one group going on a 3 hour luxury 4WD bus tour of the islands southern end.  Visiting huge blowholes, breathtaking cliffs and the Surf Point Marine Sanctuary which is a breeding ground for reef sharks.  Group two will board the boat and head out to view the spectacular Steep Point.  After being reunited for a BBQ Seafood Lunch, the groups will be split for your turn in the 4WD bus or boat.
Reunite at the Eco Lodge and board the boat for a fun and fast ridge back to the mainland.
 (Shark Bay)

Day 5:  Kalbarri is an area rich in history from the indigenous culture, the shipwrecks from the days the Dutch explored this coast and more recently form the fishing and lobster industry.  We will explore Kalbarri National Park where the Murchison River has etched formations in rocks that are up to 400 million years old.  Take a short walk to spectacular lookouts and visit breathtaking coastal landscapes.  (Kalbarri)

Day 6:  After we finish exploring this wonderful region, we will make our way back to Perth where we bid farewell to new friends.
