Day One: Leaving Broome behind, we make our way to Derby, the site of the largest tidal variance in Australia. Learn of Derby's role in Worl war 2, and take a brief stop at the 1500 year old boab prison tree. After a relaxing and informative cruise on Giekie Gorge, we settle into our camp close to Fitzroy Crossing. (Ensuited Safari Tents)
Day Two: This morning we will explore the little known Mimbi Caves. This spectacular cave system was formed in the ancient Devonian Reef system. This afternoon we make our way to Mable Downs Station and the Bungle Bungle Station Stay - our home for the next 2 nights. (Bungle Bungle Station Stay - Ensuited Safari Tents)
Day Three: We spend the full day in the World Heritage Listed Purnululu National Park, home of the Bungle Bungle. Cathedral Gorge, Piccaninny Creek and Echidna Chasm. (Bungle Bungle Station Stay - Ensuited Safari Tents)
Day Four: Today you get to do something few other people experience, well off the beaten track of any other tours - we take the remote and beautiful Tableland Track that passes through the Durack Range! We spend the night in this beautiful region in our remote camp at Imintji (Safari Tents - Shared facilities)
Day Five: Today our remote adventure continues as we explore little known gorges and escarpments, with the possibility of swimming in a waterhole that no other tourists visit! This afternoon we rejoin the famous Gibb River Road. (Imintji Camp - Ensuited Safari Tents)
Day Six: Today is a spectacular day exploring the iconic gorges of the Gibb River Road! We have time to take a relaxed and refreshing dip in the magical waters of Bell Gorge before continuing on to our camp for the night. (Mt Hart Homestead - Ensuited Safari Tents)
Day Seven: Today we visit the ancient limestone reef, now the Napier Range. Here we see the result of water carving its way through the limestone for millions of years, resulting in Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge. As we head towards Broome we all bid farewell to new found friends from our Kimberley adventure.
