The El Questo Wilderness Park is situated in the remote east Kimberley region and can be reached via the far north-eastern end of Gibb River Road. With over one million acres to explore you are able to roam free and explore the beautiful, rugged scenery.

Sandstone ranges, tidal flats, gorges, permanent waterfalls and rainforest pockets populate the area.

This unique places allows you to immerse yourself in the wonderful fruits of mother nature. The surroundings allow you to be overcome with tranquility and they set your mind at peace.

This privately owned wilderness park and was established and developed into a tourist destination in 1993. The park has four major river systems including the salt-water estuaries and fresh water springs in the property’s northern end. This is where birds, fish and other animals congregate by rivers and waterholes.

Emma Gorge is located within El Questro, nestled at one end of the Cockburn Ranges. These ranges are known for its brilliantly red colour. You can take in the scenic El Questro landscape on horseback, a boat or in the air.

This is an excellent example of the true gems that are scattered throughout the Kimberley region.

This magnificent spectacle is hidden within fiery red El Questro’s Cockburn Ranges.

The actual gorge is absolutely tranquil, surrounded by lush tropical forests and spectacular waterfalls. There are one million acres to explore within El Qestro giving you the freedom to experience the Australian outdoors and immerse yourself with nature.  

The area holds many amenities and activities for the whole family, from swimming, hiking, guided Kimberley tours to a veranda bar.

Many also enjoy dining in the restaurant with the retractable roof for star gazers.
