Day 1: Cape Town to Cederberg
We depart Cape Town mid morning for our journey to the Cederberg mountains and our accommodation at Bushmanskloof.
Day 2: Cederberg.
Bushmans Kloof have many activities for you to choose from, including Action & Adventure (canoeing, swimming, hiking, biking, fly fishing), Creative & Gourmet (meditation, healing, wine tasting) and Nature & Wildlife (nature drives, walks, organic garden tours, birdwatching). Day 3: Cederberg to Springbok.
We travel north through the KleineKoperberge (Small Copper Mountains) to Springbok. (Kleinplasie Hotel)
Day 4: Springbok to Fish River Canyon
An early morning departure north to our border crossing into Namibia, then onto Fish River Canyon. Lunch will be at Ai-Ais Hot Springs, then we will take a scenic walk along the rim of the canyon, giving an amazing perspective to the sheer size of this natural phenomenon. (Fish River Lodge)
Day 5: Fish River Canyon.
Explore the Fish River Canyon and take a sunset drive tour in the afternoon. A day to relax or to explore on yor own. (Fish River Lodge)
Day 6: Fish River Canyon to Sossusvlei.
Today we travel further north through the sweeping desert to the Sossusvlei area. (Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa)
Day 7: Sossusvlei.
Today you can take advantage of the numerous activities on offer at Le Mirage. Early morning hot ballooning over the Namib or Sossus Desert, or stay on the ground with a drive from sossus to the dead vlei, a nature drive into the Namib Desert or a Quad Bike adventure. (Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa)
Day 8: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund.
Today we drive north through the clay pans of the Namib Desert to the activity town of Swakopmund. (Strand Hotel Swakopmund)
Day 9: Swakopmund.
Today is a leisure day. Swakopmund is rich in history and art, plus the wide open beach and secluded beach cove allow a relaxing day. Lunch at own expense today.(Strand Hotel Swakopmund)
Day 10: Swakopmund to Tywfelfontein.
We travel to Tywfelfontein, located close to a freshwater spring in a remote semi-arid area at the head of a valley in Damaraland. We visit the world heritage site which has some remarkable galleries of rock engravings (pteroglyphs) depicting an extraordinary diversity of wild animals.
Day 11: Tywfelfontein to Etosha.
Travelling through an area with natural formations with names like 'Organ Pipes', 'Burnt Mountains', 'Doros Crater' and 'Petrified Forest', we make our way towards Etosha National Park.
Day 12: Etosha.
Today you can relax in the lodge, visit the exciting Ontouka Reptile Park, play a game of tennis or billiards, explore the reserve by following one of the marked walking trails or be pampered in the spa. There is also an option of accompanying one of Mokuti’s experienced game guides in an open safari vehicle into Etosha National Park.
Day 13: Etosha to Okavango River.
A morning departure, we venture towards Rundu, above the Okavango River. Having left behind the desert, it is a start contrast, where you can laze along the riverside spotting crocodiles and hippos.
Day 14: Okavango River to Bagani.
We follow the Okavango River east through floodplains towards the Mahango Game Reserve.
Day 15: Bagani.
The Camp has a range of activities to choose from. Boat cruises, guided nature walks, guided Hambukushu and Xwebushmen village excursions, traditional Mokoro trip, Namibian Okavango Delta Panhandle Experience, game drives and Dragon River Rafting.
Day 16: Bagani to Zambezi Region.
We drive east through the wetlands of the Zambezi Region to Camp Chobe.(Camp Chobe)
Day 17: Zambezi Region.
Today, choose from game viewing boat cruises, game drives, walk safari or a Canadian canoe safari. (Camp Chobe)
Day 18: Zambezi Region to Kasane.
Travelling through the Chobe floodplains, we cross the border into Botswana. (Chobe Marina Lodge)
Day 19: Kasane.
Boat cruises and fishing on the Chobe River, or a game drive into Chobe National Park are some activities to choose from today. (Chobe Marina Lodge)
Day 20: Kasane to Victoria Falls.
Travelling east through Zambezi National Park, we cross the border into Zimbabwe, making our way to the iconic Victoria Falls. (The Victoria Falls Hotel)
Day 21: Victoria Falls.
There is so much to choose from today. White water rafting, canoeing, jet boating, Night Eyes Safari, Horse trails, Elephant back safari – plus much, much more.(The Victoria Falls Hotel)
After a relaxing breakfast in the dining room, we say goodbye to our new-found friends, and transfer those requiring it to Victoria Falls Airport.
